The timeline for the Drug Repurposing Venture Challenge is as follows:

• Application deadline: 20 May 2025, by 2pm
• Interviews selection committee: 3 and 17 June 2025
• Results on participation: no later than 20 June 2025
• First bootcamp (including overnight stays): 2-4 July 2025
• Weekly coaching
• Second bootcamp (including overnight stays): 17-19 September 2025
• Final presentation and announcement of winner: 8 October 2025

Winner 2025
The winner of the €20,000 prize money will be determined by the jury of the Drug Repurposing Venture Challenge.

The recipient of the ZonMw FAST Drug Repurposing Venture Challenge prize may use the budget belonging to the prize at its own discretion provided it is aimed at the further development of drug repurposing concepts.

The recipient of the prize has a result obligation in accordance with the terms and conditions of FAST (this concerns TNO purchasing conditions). In the final report, the recipient indicates what activities have been undertaken with the funding. This fulfils the result obligation.
