FAST launches FAST Forum: the central place for therapy development

Today, on February 13, we launch the FAST Forum – an interactive online community where innovators, researchers, start-ups, companies and patient advocates come together to exchange knowledge and expertise on therapy development.

Developing new therapies brings opportunities, but also many challenges. Regulation, funding, research and patient engagement are just some of the issues innovators face. FAST regularly receives questions such as:

  • When and to whom can I seek scientific advice for the gene therapy I am developing?
  • How do I formulate an effective clinical strategy for my orphan drug?
  • How can I actively involve patients in my research?
  • What is an early HTA and why is it essential to my development pathway?

To answer these and many other questions and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, FAST is introducing the FAST Forum, as part of support services. This platform will be the place where professionals from the field find each other, share knowledge and support each other in developing innovative therapies.

What does the FAST Forum offer?
The FAST Forum acts as a central hub for knowledge exchange and collaboration within the themes of drug repurposing, rare diseases, radiopharmaceuticals, infectious diseases and ATMPs. Here you can:

  • Get in direct contact with experts and like-minded people.
  • Find answers to complex issues within therapy development.
  • Identify bottlenecks and explore joint solutions.
  • Get an overview of relevant events, workshops and educational opportunities.
  • Get step-by-step guidance in the therapy development process.

Thank you to our pilot users
The FAST Forum was developed and optimized with the valuable input of pilot users. We sincerely thank them for their feedback and involvement. Thanks to their contributions, we can now offer an optimal platform to a wide audience.
