Launch of the Strategic Research Agenda for TRT

NUCMED‑NL and FAST will launch the Strategic Research Agenda for Targeted Radionuclide Therapy (TRT). All professionals involved in the development of TRT can register for this afternoon meeting.

Start: 13:30

Following the launch of the Nuclear Medicine Roadmap in November 2024, a broad coalition of stakeholders, supported by FAST and KWF, developed a strategic research agenda for TRT. In the first phase, the key knowledge gaps have been identified and validated by representatives from all relevant stakeholder domains. For each knowledge gap, the essential building blocks have been outlined to address these gaps in a targeted way. This has resulted in a broadly supported research agenda that stimulates collaboration between academia, industry, and clinical practice, and provides direction for future funding and innovation within TRT.

We encourage you to join us at the presentation of the resulting research agenda and together explore the first steps toward concrete follow-up of the actions defined in the strategic research agenda TRT in an interactive session. At the end of the meeting there will room for networking during the drinks.

We warmly invite you to be part of this significant and celebratory step toward a collaborative effort in strengthening the radiopharmaceutical ecosystem.

You can register for the afternoon session via this page.

For these next steps, we will explore who could take the lead, how multidisciplinary collaboration can be strengthened, and which funding opportunities may support further development.
The workshops will provide insight into upcoming funding opportunities and facilitate interactive discussions to strengthen the impact of these instruments on the TRT research agenda. In addition, they will explore strategies to secure funding, strengthen collaboration, and/or improve coordination and alignment in order to realize the opportunities identified in the TRT Research Agenda to strengthen the ecosystem.
The workshops will include the following themes:
